Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned the shooting as a "terrorist attack on Muslims in a centre of worship and refuge".

Unfortunately, I think things are going to get worse before they get better with the likes of Bannan running the Security Council and others who should be moved down the ladder of information. This happen in my province and I'm scrolling the news for more info.
And it have only a few.

For now I don't consider this an act of terrorist.
I suspect it have been named so for being able to apply the more laxed law that goes with.
The count is now at 6 dead, all men as the woman were at an upper level.


Like someone said, one of the suspect is Morrocan and the other one is (from is name) Québécois.
It look more like a slaughter than an act of terrorist.
The motive are still unknown.

It's a very sad day and the timing with Trump is odd considering the act have been done by a Morrocan.

The news don't tell of who they are talking when relating the event which make it complicated to know what happen.

my first comprehension of the situation:
The Morrocan have stay at the mosque and give up himself to the police. He was living nearby of the mosque.
The Quebecois was on the run and call the police telling he had remorse and want to be "pick up". He surrender himself to the police.

Motive and how it happen still unknow.

Witness claims, "They started to fire, and as they shot, they yelled, 'Allahu akbar!'..." Does not sound like your typical Trump voter. Perhaps a stark reminder that the vast majority of victims of Muslim terrorists have been... other Muslims.

What the people gathered around the event may said to reporter may not be quite true.
It's the part I hate with live news, their is many contradictory information or simple assumption said as news.

It is why I wait to comment further about it.

Fair enough. I had also sat on the info until I saw it reported from a reputable news source: cbc.ca. Lone wolf attacks are a problem with extremists of all stripes. I disagree strongly with Trump's policies, but a crackpot attack is a crackpot attack. It goes without saying that nobody should shoot up any place of worship for any reason.

What came out the most about the murderer: Nobody see it coming, nobody would had expect he would have done something like that.

He is quite a "nobody" in the sense he could be anyone.

He use to be part of the cadet (army for kid) where he was introduce to arm manipulation.
He was student at the Laval University in anthropology and political science.
Contrary of what I said it is him (and not the Moroccan) who was living very close to the Mosque.
He have a twin brother.

Someone who had a beer with him 2 week earlier said he like talk about politic but he would never said something out of the line against Muslim... he seem more angered about feminist.

While interrogated by the police, he is said to not hide his FEAR and hatred of muslim.

I was responding to the then baseless suggestion that this was a white nationalist attack. I then deleted the part of my post that turned out to be based on a wrong report in the media.

I am not sure why you feel that it is dishonest to delete wrong information rather than leave it up when times has shown it to be wrong. To be clear, the part of the post I was responding to remains baseless, so the point I left up still stands.
You can't rush to post 'na naa naa Trump did this' every time something bad happens, before there is even in any evidence to support it. That's far more dishonest than correcting an incorrect report. Or do you have some more info about the Texas mosque burning ???
