Need a foreigner for assignment at college

I sent a PM with no response. I don't think this was a serious request. I don't see why the interview could not have been done by Whatsapp, Line, or Skype, if meeting in person was inconvenient. Do you think this was one of those interviews where they wanted a friend to video it?
