MNC Dropping Stations

I have a Samsung Smart TV. Smarter than me evidently since I never really learned to do anything with it. There are some choices for sights when it first starts up but if I search something, 9 times out if 10 I get a You Tube video. Does any news media stream their broadcast that I could go to? Something US and more middle of the road?

It surprises me that more media does not live stream their programing. If they do, I sure don't know how to access it. Then again, I don't know how to access much more than You Tube or the paid services that come up on startup.

Yeah it can be frustrating. The problem is with copyright etc. Practically none of the live streaming from news channels etc. from European countries, is available outside of the country or EU. (Therefore the popularity of VPN.) And a BBC iPlayer for instance, is blocked outside of the UK because it lacks the rights to broadcast elsewhere. France 24 (also the English version) does work here. The Smart TV is better suited as alternative for watching movie channels etc.

I looked into the CNN Go bit you need to state a cable provider. Not sure if one of the streaming companies is listed. Will need to go through a rather large list. Will check other news services also.

Snpark another way to go is the IPTV route and that gives you access to all the channels in the world. There are people around Jakarta who offer one stop boxes with an iptv package installed.

Yes I've seen. My friend has one. I will wait a few weeks and see what the building does maybe they will change supplier to get a new cable subscription
