I attended my Missus' son wedding in East Java village. Hindu.
I expected to be relax in the background, but her elder brother (my age) came to pick up and made me understand "in the village you are the official husband, so you stay with her"
Front stage...
The whole ceremony, 100 people attending, mix of Hindu and Muslims. Only 1 bule, me...
Theeth grinding, hair samples, carrying the coconut, walking on the fire...etc...
Lasted for hours. OK, I know Asia so I know how to behave.
It was honestly a great experience. Would I assist at another on ? No way.
And the whole thing lasted 3 days.....

The man allegedly organized a bizarre ceremony at Disneyland Paris where he played the role of the groom in a fake marriage with a young Ukrainian girl.

The organizer of the fake wedding that took place last Saturday in Disneyland Paris turns out to be a wanted British pedophile. This was announced by the prosecutor's office of Meaux. The 39-year-old man had used a nine-year-old girl as a bride in his 'playful stunt'. The management of the French amusement park was deceived. Most of the guests who showed up were flabbergasted.

The Briton had put €130,000 on the table to rent part of the park and pay more than a hundred wedding guests. He had recruited the unsuspecting attendees in advance through various sites. The invitation stated that they were allowed to attend the rehearsals of a prestigious wedding party. In return, the guests would receive compensation. One condition, howeft: it all had to remain strictly confidential.

Great was their surprise however, when the bride... turned out to be a 9-year-old Ukrainian girl. She had to say yes to the Briton, who had become completely unrecognizable with the help of professional make-up artists. The images of the party would then be broadcasted via social media.
