Because my work was related to aircraft , I learned that each civil aircraft model has flight , operations & maintenance manuals that operator(s) must comply with .

Ironically we humans have no similar manuals and many (if not the majority) even don't care about health , except when sick .

Note : Ironically , we humans are well behind about what matters the most : health , education , good governance , environment , housing , social relations , ...

What about simply being happy ?

What about simply being happy ?
Lets say : happiness depends on : money , health , knowledge , friends & family , luck , environment , ... , so improving your health also improves your happiness .

You put money before health I note...
Personally, am I perfectly happy ?
Nope, because I am old and that sucks.
Being 40 / 50 is much better.

It doesn't mean that I am unhappy, just happy enough for my age, with (sadly) a lot of limitations

To a degree lack of money means stress, poor diet etc

Also too much money, mo money mo problems etc

Yes , unfortunately money is also a cause of health degradation .

Money may induce us : to use car instead of walking , dining out instead of cooking ourselves , stop the daily physical exercises/health diets/ ... to do long tourism trips , ...

For Americans, yes of course, because most of what you eat is sh**te....
Hence obesity is common now in the US.
Not much better for Aussies when I see their womenfolk in Bali..
Go eat in a REAL French restaurant !

Some people give 5 star to this..

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preventable_causes_of_death & https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aviation_accidents_and_incidents :

In 2001 : around 32.6 million people died due to (#)preventable deseases and around only 1545 died in aircraft accidents .

(#) hypertension, smoking, alcohol, sexually transmitted infections, poor diet, overweight and obesity, physical inactivity, malnutrition, air pollution, and unsafe water and poor sanitation.

Besides that , (*) WHO states that "Noncommunicable Diseases"/NCD (mostly preventable) killed at least 43 million people in 2021 , but deaths due to aircraft accidents (from 2001 to 2025) decreased to a per year average of only 853 .

(*) https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/noncommunicable-diseases
Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), also known as chronic diseases, tend to be of long duration and are the result of a combination of genetic, physiological, environmental and behavioural factors.
The main types of NCDs are cardiovascular diseases (such as heart attacks and stroke), cancers, chronic respiratory diseases (such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma) and diabetes.
