I don't know if it's a coincidence or not I read your (@amamedo) post in the morning and in the afternoon I faced an immigration officer in our shop. Yesterday was Saturday and I think that was their holiday and he came to the shop with his wife and his child. I faced him then he was just quite surprised and trying to recall my name. I told him my name and he said yes yes! And he asked you guys open here? (as last year before opening the shop we asked him about helping a spouse if he or she has a business, so I guess he still remember that)
That's the conversation I had with him then he just paid the money for the things he bought and just say thank you and left.

To cut the story shirt the immigration catched me while am serving customers and i served one of the immigration officers as well. He even asked me are you the owner and i said yes..

I believe the problem you had started with you saying you were the owner. I do not believe you are allowed to be the owner.

So after he finished his food he asked me if we can have a small talk then he showed me his ID and started to ask me questions then he asked for my passport. He took it and gave me recipt to come the next day to the immigration.

I don't know, if I'm amamedo, will I just give him my passport? I could be thinking if he's real or fake (of course, amamedo faced the real deal)? Should I ask to see his warrant or 'Surat Tugas'? Can I convince the officer that I will go to his office tomorrow without giving him my passport? After all, the passport belongs to my country, it's not my property, but I have the responsibility to take care of it. If I did anything illegal, he can arrest me right then and there if he has the warrant. And I will not sign anything without reading and understanding it, who knows what is written there. I can also claim that I don't understand bahasa, so I need my lawyer to help me. Just my opinion...

I wonder if they will forward anything to their colleagues at Manpower? Then finally we could/would have our testcase in court...
