Hi. Does anyone know whether Immigration requires the US$3,000/month payments to originate directly from a pension provider, or whether three monthly US$3,000 transfers from the applicant's own UK savings account to their own UK current account would satisfy the requirement. I have a private pension - but I cannot draw from it until November - I have savings - and I can set up a regular monthly transfer of 3,000$ from my savings account until my pension becomes available but will this suffice? And if that is the case what proof of documentation will be required by your immigration agent? Thx.

Send from your own account overseas and for reason just put pension or allowance or something. Honestly they don't care or check and sometimes it doesn't even show the reason even if you put it. Sometimes not even the remitter name. Depends. But they don't care. As long as you could show you have money they not bothered. Just don't put income. Put something neutral like rent or allowance or pension but nothing like income. Even loan repayment is ok

It can be from the pension provider .
or whether three monthly US$3,000 transfers from the applicant's own UK savings account to their own UK current account would satisfy the requirement.
You probably can also show the balance (minimum 12 x US$3'000) of your savings account .
... what proof of documentation will be required by your immigration agent?
I think that just a photo or PDF file of the : savings account balance (with US$36k minimum) or statement of the pension provider .

The Retirement Visa & KITAS requires a visa agent/sponsor , so you can also ask him/her .

You can be free of sponsor (so you can request yourself) if you choose the "Siver Hair E33E" type (but you will need to invest US$50k in one of the 4 Indonesian Government banks) .

This is what is required for E31F Retirement VITAS
'Bank account proving income or allowance with a value of US$3,000 per month'. If it is from pension fund it will be better, but the official rules don't strictly require this money to come from an official pension fund. Historically, some applicants have satisfied this requirement simply by transferring $3,000 monthly from a personal savings account into their current account. Please do it with your own risk.

Additionally, this visa requires a local guarantor. Most applicants hire an immigration agent to serve as their guarantors and manage the application. If you work with an agent, they can advise you on the trick to meet this US$3,000 threshold even if you lack a formal pension income.

I just went through the illimited retirement visa process.
An agent is mandatory.
Requirements :
Photocopy of passport and KTP
Photopy of SKTT
Lodging rental contract
Photocopy of KTP owner / llandlord
Photocopy of KTP of one local employee
Latest 3 month bank statement showing monthly income of 3000 USD
Health insurance

Application launched on Aug 11th
Yesterday visit to immigration for picture and application review.
The latter a bit stressfull as the guy went through all the document, checked, doublechecked...
After 15 min I was delighted to hear "Ok Sir, your Illimited KITAP should be ready in 10 working days, please during that time don't leave the country"
Happy frog !

Cost : 90 million.
Ough....
Now I just have to live long enough to make it worth the investment....

Illimited

Long time since I heard that word…

What my neighbors in Bali are paying:

The total cost for a 5-Year Retirement KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit) in Indonesia generally ranges between IDR 39,500,000 and IDR 55,000,000 (~$2,450 to $3,400 USD) when processed through a visa agency.
If you are transitioning from your initial 5-year KITAP to an Unlimited (Lifetime) Retirement KITAP, the agency package price increases to approximately IDR 52,000,000 (~$3,220 USD).

... Most applicants hire an immigration agent to serve as their guarantors ...
Not "most" , for the 1 year Retirement E33F Visa (which includes the KITAS) , the foreigner "must" hire a visa agent , but not all visa agents are authorized (probably the ones who offer the service can someway do it , if not authorized, by doing it in partnership with an authorized agent) .

I went to my neighbors who recently did it. And they shopped around. Never ever go with the first agent you talk to…

They do regret somewhat that they were not able (cf. agent) to go for that E33E Silver Hair btw. Was introduced like 3 years ago so they were already in their E33F KITAP…

You being an experienced resident, your reply should be better....
4×1 year visa, next a 5 year...
And I am not too bad at negociating.

And BTW, I know the game, and there is no way I'll marry for a visa !

... An agent is mandatory.
It is not only mandatory but it also needs to be with the same present agent . It is possible to change an agent/sponsor , but the present one has to agree .
Requirements :
......
Photocopy of KTP of one local employee
Latest 3 month bank statement showing monthly income of 3000 USD
Health insurance
Assuming you started the Retirement Stay Permit with the old rule , it should be 2 employees , 2 insurances (Life & Health Insurances) and + the Third Part Accident Insurance if you have a car/motorcycle ; but the monthly income should be lower (US$1'500 , if I am not mistaken) .
Cost : 90 million.
You still will have to pay for the 5 years 'Reports' .

For those who want to get the 1 Year Retirement E33F , I suggest (when choosing a visa agent/sponsor) to :

a) ask the price for the Retirement Visa & first KITAS ;
b) ask the price for the 2nd Retirement KITAS (should be less than a) because does not include the Visa) ;
c) ask the price for the 5 years Retirement KITAP (should be lower than 5 times the 2nd KITAS price) . I forgot to ask this price and my agent wanted to charge more than 5 times the 1 year KITAS , so at the end of the 6th KITAS , I got an EPO and started all over again . Now we have an new option (the Bridge Visit Permit) besides the EPO .
d) ask the price for the time unlimited Retirement KITAP ;
e) ask the price for the 5 years report of the unlimited Retirement KITAP .
