Congrats on the Kitap harryopal. Quick question for you - did your wife have a Bali address KTP and KK when you applied? Cheers.

Thanks Jamu for the congrats. My wive had neither a KTP in Bali or a KK Bali. She had a SKTT BALI.

That's interesting since anecdotally I've heard that a local KTP and KK is required for a spouse sponsored Kitap in Bali. Btw, did your wife have a local sponsor for her SKTT, e.g., your landlord? We have been told by our Desa that Bali no longer provides such documents to Indonesians (KIPS/KIPEM, which I think is essentially the same type of Id as an SKTT) - they only get a surat domisili signed by the banjar but not by the Desa...

Jamu, here is my wife's response.

1. First , you must go to KANTOR LURAH and take your KK n KTP ( my KTP or KK from Bandung - West Java ) and tell to employer, that you need SKTT ( SURAT KETERANGAN TEMPAT TINGGAL SEMENTARA ) for apply KITAS or KITAP.


2. After you got SIGN and STAMP from KANTOR LURAH ,you go to KEPALA LINGKUNGAN,and HE will save your identity and sign the letter and after that KEPALA LINGKUNGAN will tell you to go to KANTOR CAMAT.
