Hello everybody.

So you all jumped off the burning ship and left me there!!! If it wasn't for an email today that I thought was spam and nearly deleted without reading it I may never have found you all again.

Oh well, I am here now. I don't live in Blitar anymore but I guess I can still call it home. I have lived in Indonesia for about 10 years and out of the 10 years I have spent 8 months back in my home country of oz. My family and I now live in Bali.

Great to see lots of familiar names here...

Definitely keep the name. I think it's one of the best place-names in all Indonesia. It sounds a name one would pick of for an alien planet.

I didn't know I was logged out. After I logged back in I saw a notification by a guy called 'Salty???' Which is strange as I never get PMs. Glad I opened it cos I was wondering where the new forum was. Tried googling it to no avail.

I did find another forum though where Mas Fred (I remember him from ages ago) is a regular poster. He made a very useful post combining loads of good advice for newbies to this country.

I have no idea why he isn't on here

Gumtree is the name of a website which is the equivalent of Craigslist. Very fitting description for that other place.
