It does seem that Brits and Aussies make the news most often for over indulging. Not that they have exclusive rights to the crown.

I recall watching a show while I was in France, I think from a UK TV station, showing the CCTV crew that worked with local police in the UK, and weekends were nonstop people so hammered. Pissing on church walls, fights, and so much stupidity. Pretty amazing.

I guess as someone whose father was an alcoholic, I never had much interest in drinking, always seemed a bit of a waste to me.

Talking about bule kampung and abang2: The series "Wid Ride - Tuk Tuk" is one of these other examples of 'let's get some losers from different countries together and film them while we have them do stupid stuff, get them wasted and breaking down hotel rooms while partying, insult local cultures while traveling some Asian countries, ...'

Omigod I'm practically in tears of laughter...Captain Jack alone is worth it. And then we get lines like:

"...The first loser of the day is Matt..."

I've heard it said that Americans find British humor funny, but Brits don't get American humor. Assuming that's true, the praise/insults for each side of the pond could go either way. My vote is just that British humor is better. (And I say that as an American.)

yes there are some heroes for sure, i mean just the opening - the following programme contains bad language, for example **** and **** and ****
i thought that was funny, typical uk channel 4 / bravo etc etc

and yeh the first episode with loser matt from rotherham, trying to buy a ticket online

even after all these years of reality tv cliches, it still cracks me up just how effing stupid and naive some people can be, literally flying somewhere with no money, no clue what to do or say or behave, its crazy

that stupid guy in eps 1 who gets hammered waiting 17 hours for his plane then nearly misses it, strutting around in his i love thailand vest and mask, trying to high 5 the security while drinking beer
makes me cringe
