If you go to that article and watch the video, you can see how good video editing has become. Basically you can edit facial expressions and mouth words on the fly, and can make anyone say anything on video. Soon it will be hard for even the most skeptical news viewer to deduce what is real news and what is fake news.

I believe you're still able to detect inefficiencies with the technology but it's most certainly very close to deceiving the average observer. Everyone in the public eye will soon have to have their very own private videographer following them around all day protecting their image and sound bites.
