A friend of mine got deported in 2013 while he was in Indonesia on a business visa. He was invited to hold a masterclass. During his masterclass he was questioned by immigration and deported and got the famous red stamp. He was holding the masterclass for free but immigration said he needed a working permit. They were willing to let him go if he paid off 1000$ which he refused.
The question is now, where can I get information about his current status? I would like to help him and call / get information through Imigrasi about his current status. It has been 3 years ago and I am not sure how long that entry is valid. Anyone got an idea where to get this information and what can be done to help him? Thaks.
