Hi All. I made it and am now in the UK. It was rather a long journey because I had long waits in both KL and in London Heathrow (waiting for someone to pick me up). However, overall it wasn't too bad an experience. Apart from the sole of my shoe deciding to part company while I was walking through KLIA! A word of warning: There is no such thing as a cheap pair of trainers in an airport. I had to part with a large wad of my carefully hoarded budget to buy a new pair... Unfortunately, no small tubes of superglue either in an airport! That would have solved the problem in a flash, but alas, life doesn't come that easy!!!
