Btw, what many don't realize, is that Huawei is a huge player for networking components. The European operators would get into big trouble if they can't use Huawei's equipment and components anymore.
Huawei had a share of 28 percent in European networks at the end of last year, ahead of Nokia (Finland) and Ericsson (Sweden), who have both around 25 percent.
If Huawei would not be a provider anymore, it seems big capacity problems would arise for the non-Chinese competitors to supply the necessary additional equipment.
