HUAWEI the 3rd player?

Btw, what many don't realize, is that Huawei is a huge player for networking components. The European operators would get into big trouble if they can't use Huawei's equipment and components anymore.

Huawei had a share of 28 percent in European networks at the end of last year, ahead of Nokia (Finland) and Ericsson (Sweden), who have both around 25 percent.

If Huawei would not be a provider anymore, it seems big capacity problems would arise for the non-Chinese competitors to supply the necessary additional equipment.

So it seems Trump has loosened the leash a bit.

Now nobody really understands what is, and what is not allowed anymore. It all boils down to the own interpretation with some vague rulings.

No idea yet how HUAWEI will react and what the consequences for their OS would be.

It's just jealousy, Trump cannot handle the fact that it is no longer 1980 and USA does not rule the world anymore and China is way ahead of USA on tech etc. Plus he just likes to undo anything Obama did.
Most of silicon valley is Indian immigrant code writers etc
Heck even Steve Jobs was a Syrian refugee
