fly curtains - metal

I am trying to find the aluminium chain/strip curtains (that many professional kitchens have outside of Indonesia)that keep flies out.
I am struggling to find anything remotely resembling them here. There are lots of bamboo/polyester and plastic ones about and the only metal one I found is priced around 4 million IDR (seriously expensive!) Any ideas?

Could you make your own, BA? Go to a hardware store, buy small linked aluminum chain, cut it to length, then screw it to a mounting plate?

Even better! Buy him a heap of bass strings, tie a small nut to the bottom of them and hang 'em.

The chain ones should work fine, the nylon regular fly screens just get shredded by the dogs coming in & out, so I figured something a bit more heavy duty would be great.

If anyone wants an upcycling idea for soda can ring pulls - there you go, get making fly-curtains - me, nope, I cannot find enough patience for such things

I saw something like it on aliexpress for USD100. That’s not Rp 4 million, but still kinda steep. Then again, buying enough chain links to make your own may not be much cheaper.

I have never used aliexpress... however re the pricing- measurements made, and pricing done, single door is about 500rb double door is obviously double that. With the advantage that it will keep a certain spouse busy
