Does Bali have dragon komodos?

Bats are ok to eat though it won't be the most sophisticated eating experience you ever had. Next time you are around, let you tempted.

Plus they carry diseases like rabies etc
I wouldn't want bat carpaccio for sure
Maybe an extremely well done chargrilled bat fillet with a lot of sambal and vodka

She said .7 maybe you didn't see the . for 0.7m = 70 cm about 28 inches

You're right, there's what looks like just another spec of dust on my screen before the 7 & now that you've pointed it out I realise that spec moves when I scroll..... maaf JC.

Not that I doubt it but so far I have never heard about a case of rabies transmitted to a Manadonese by a cooked bat. I have been eating bats for well over a decade and never got any trouble.

If it bites or scratches you while it is on your plate, there must have been a serious mess up with the cooking time. :)

There is no way in the world I would eat a f.....ing fruit bat / flying fox, besides the rabies concern those things terrorize my neighbourhood in Australia with their nightmarish sqawking in plague proportions, their shit is so toxic it strips the paint off colourbond roofing back to bare metal & if you step on it, it will almost pull your shoe off of your foot..... just saying because in my experience they are nothing but a scourge.

7 metres? .... This baby (named Gregory) is 6 metres. I took this photo in 1996 at the Johnstone River croc farm in Nth Qld.
Apparently Gregory is still alive today & this guy (I forget his name) is still doing his thing. Note the garden rake which he uses to splash the water so the other smaller (but still big) crocs launch themselves vertically out of their individual ponds where he drops a dead chook down their throat.
Apparently Gregory which they caught in a swamp is too well fed & too big to move quickly.

Note the decimal in front of the 7. :) If there was a 7 meter long lizard on my front porch, I’d hear the screams from 2km away.

I have eaten Alu2 or monitor lizard when our Balinese neighbor caught and barbequed one. The meat is quite tasty but it leaves you feeling very "lemas" as I think its quite high in cholesterol. I wouldn't rush to eat it again, but seeing as I didn't catch kill or cook it I thought it would be worth a try and yes it tastes a bit like a cross between tough chicken and rabbit meat very greasy though.

Oh my, better call it a day: I read the title "Does Bali have Dragon Kondoms" (yeah, in Finnish we write it with 'k'...). :D

Ah, käydä kimppuun kuin sika limppuun.

Not too fond of the biawak, the lizard sate they offer at a warung. But the word is it is good for the skin...
