Is it feasible to renew the KITAS ourselves than to rely on agent again?

I am the director of the PT PMA that I created so getting the document out will not be so difficult is it not ?

anyone have experience of such and will be able to share your experience.

For sure you can do it , as you did the passport data change already and all Immigration processes at evisa website follow the same repetitive actions : upload photo and pdf , pay , Immigration will ask to upload everything in a single pdf and correct something (if necessary) , at each phase the "Status" of the process change , ...

The name of the process at the evisa.imigrasi.go.id is "Extension" , not "Renew" .

Below is a similar step-by-step process ("Conversion") that may help you a little :

---------------------------

PerMen no.22 Year 2023
Article 116
(1) Applications for extension of ITAS may be submitted with the following provisions:
a. for 1 year ITAS , submitted no sooner than 30 days and no later than the day the ITAS ends; or
b. for longer ITAS, submitted no sooner than 3 months and no later than the day the ITAS ends.

Poster's Note : If you submit the extension's request in the day the ITAS expires , be sure to pay it in the same day , otherwise you may have to pay overstay fine .

I am very skeptical as my friend kept telling me to use agent and stop fooling around. This can result my KITAS to be lapsed and I need to re-apply.

Agent are charging a rate of 15 JT for this service which is 1 fold the fee.

I had 2 heads here so total of 30 JTs even for SGD.

Now we can only do (any process) online , although your local Kantor Imigrasi will still be controlling everything (get its Whatsapp number to ask about required documents and other doubts - messages only) .

People's opinion may be influenced by past experience . Fortunately I had a very good past experience in doing things myself . I believe in this quote :“If you want a thing done well , do it yourself”, when it refers to things important to me that I am able to do , even requiring some learning efforts .
This can result my KITAS to be lapsed and I need to re-apply ...
The probability of you losing the KITAS is very low (I didn't hear of any case yet) .
The online system was designed in a way that it requires only few things in order to get a process accepted to be paid . After that , when most of the documents are requested , you may commit some errors and will be asked to correct , without major problem .

(2) An application for an extension of an ITAS ... that has been submitted and immigration fees paid before the ITAS expires will not be considered an overstay if the process is approved after the ITAS expires .

They are asking for

SK Kementerian Hukum yang memuat jumlah investasi minimal 10M

How do I get this ?

I don't know but your local Kantor Imigrasi should know .

I guess this 'Statement Letter' from "Kementarian Hukun/Ministry of Law" is the same (or similar) document that was required when you requested the Investment E28A Visa : "Document Requirement : ... h. Ministry of Law and Human Rights Decree regarding the legalization of the establishment of your PT PMA" (according to https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/web/visa-selection) .

Roytoh , if you decide to do the 2 KITAS extensions yourself , you better confirm this with your local Kantor Imigrasi : it seems your KITAS is sponsored by your PT PMA , but your spouse's KITAS (I think) is sponsored by you ; if so you will have to use 2 Immigration accounts for that , the PMA's account (for your KITAS) + your own account (for your spouse's KITAS) .

Another detail that I don't know is related to how to do the 2 processes simultaneously as for your spouse's extension process Immigration may require your new KITAS (already extended) . Maybe Immigration may accept just the proof of payment of your KITAS' extension (that you can get at the beginning of the extension process) .

My wife kitas is also sponsored by the PT PMA.

So we can both renew.

However when I'm at the system..
The system disallow is to access it.

Attached is the error

Did Immigration tell you that ? To me , it is hard to believe . Take a look at her KITAS , at the bottom of the page , what it states at "Guarantor" and "Status" or "Activity" .
So we can both renew.
Regardless of who are the sponsors , certainly both KITAS can be extended if you didn't reach yet the 6th year with this KITAS .
However when I'm at the system.. The system disallow is to access it.
This may be because it is not the correct sponsor's account .

Are you using the evisa's accounts that your agent created in the past to get your visas ?
I am using the account to login to evisa.go.id

The issue my creation is using the old system and therefore do not sync properly with the new system.

There are missing fields not input when logged using the guarantor ID.

Therefore my account and my wife account is not being populated into the system.

Im located at batam and therefore they said will check for me with the helpdesk centre.

I had just went there today.

I am using the account to login to evisa.go.id
What I want to know : did you create a new evisa's account or is it the old account created by your visa agent ?

What do you mean by "old system" ?

And could you answer my questions from post no.11 ?

What I want to know : did you create a new evisa's account or is it the old account created by your visa agent ?

It is previously created by my visa agent.
What do you mean by "old system" ?

I suspect it is the old system because when I was with the visa agent previously, they told me that they are migration over to the new system..I suspect it is the evisa go.

All the other people that had done kitas with this agent are all asked to re-do their kitas instead of extending it.

I do not wish to extend it as I am hoping to get KITAP. By doing a new kitas, it does not help to clock the 3 years duration.
And could you answer my questions from post no.11 ?

When I head down to the immigration office, they told me for kitas renewal, it is within 1 month before expiry. However, when I googled the result show that for kitas renewal or 2 years , I have to be 3 months earlier.

Im confused on the inconsistent of answer.

I'm again heading down to their office today to check. I hope something meaningful will be out of it. They aren't solving my issue up to today.

... kitas with this agent are all asked to re-do their kitas instead of extending it.
As expected the agent don't want to help you . This solution doesn't make sense .
I do not wish to extend it as I am hoping to get KITAP.
The quickest way to get the KITAP is extending your Investor (E28A) KITAS once (if 2 years KITAS) , or twice (if 1 year KITAS) .
By doing a new kitas, it does not help to clock the 3 years duration.
Correct .

The best sources of information are (updated) Law and Regulations .
I repeat below what I have already told you in post no.2 (I already checked that the newest (as far I know) PerMen no.11 Year 2024 does not change this Article 116) .

Agent is not even answering to me. The immigration office is suspecting that there are 2 accounts being created for the same PT

Because when they logged into their system, they can see that the NIB / SIUP has value. However after logging into the evisa go account, there is no value.

They asked me to see if I can get the agent to check if they have another account.

All these stuffs are driving me crazy. I almost been here for 1 week and still stuggling to get things to move.

Moroever, the immigration told me that the sponsor of the new system must be a local and not a foreigner.

The system migrate my wife to be my sponsor and now my sponsor is a non-local and this can cause potential issue also.

Agent is not even answering to me.
Once an agent is involved, unless they want to help free you (usually at a price) it is very hard to accomplish anything without them. However, it would seem that there must be someway to get free but it's probably not quick or easy.
