Departed on EPO but e-visa portal won't issue new voa says still in Indonesia

That's a retirement Kitap. A WNI sponsored Kitap may differ.
Mate, I think I made it clear several times that marrying for a visa is out of question. EVER.
Ooops, marrying about love ... 😅😅😅
My companion and me live together since over 11 years.
But I don't touch her freedom, and she doesn't touch mine...
Keep it simple.
And I am a lonesome cowboy (not a lonely...) and it suits us fine.

Balipod, I wasn't advocating that you marry for a WNI sponsored Kitap. I am trying to establish that when I report after 5 years on my WNI sponsored permanent Kital I will not have to show proof of income.

I left Indonesia in February 2025 on an EPO (Exit Permit Only) issued by Imigrasi Ngurah Rai. Departed within the required timeframe.

On a new passport (old one was full, not expired when replaced - doubt that has relevance) I recently tried to apply for a new visa through the e-visa portal and got an error saying I currently hold a valid visit stay permit and cannot apply for a new one while still in Indonesia — which I’m not. Has anyone experienced this?

Is this likely to be a Stay Permit not cancelled by employer?

I have reached out to both ex-employer and Ngurah Rai Immigration - awaiting feedback if any.
Well it seems this thread got hijacked a bit, but to update on topic if it is helpful to anyone.

Kanor Imigrasi NgurahRai WhatsApp suggested I either use the on arrival VoA or contact Directorate General, as this is not a local office issue. So I contacted DJ by email and they said to use either FB or Instagram chat. I used the Instagram chat for Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi and after sending screenshots of my EPO, old flight ticket out and exit stamp in my passport they replied on a Saturday morning (no less) that they had updated my status in their system and I could go ahead and reapply. This time I got my evisa no problem.

I have to say that although I am not impressed with their overall system (neither am I surprised) I am impressed with the ease and speed of their trouble shooting. I still have no idea how it arose tho shrug

If you are married they will know you have income but also outcome lol

In all fairness the Evisa system I find excellent.

I think the few of you having problems is not with the new system it's just the old way and perhaps when info and files were migrated across to this online system.

Doesn't take much to accidently click WNI instead of WNA or such

Now you are on the new system you will see and find very easy fast to use. And cheaper
And it keeps all your info on there so your passport number etc is always there.

I think the online system is great. Of course you have to use it one or 2 times to learn about sliding the bar across it down to the edge of the page or bottom because it doesn't all fit in the screen.
