A typical day for me just now, involves getting my jaxie out of bed around 1pm... yes I know (Lazy bitch =me)
I mooch downstairs & am presented with a perfectly made cup of tea- Hubby in training for best hubby in the world award- plus it was one of his wedding vows.
Wedding vows:
Him: No diddling with other women & a daily cuppa tea & a daily hug/cuddle.
Me: no farting in bed (broke that one a few times) , no diddling with other men [ unless he diddles first] and frequent massages.
I then mooch around being very bored as I am in the middle of an addiction spree & currently on book 9 of a 16 book series- hence the not falling asleep until 7am.
When I get downstairs I am enthusiastically greeted by a fat French bulldog who does his best to kneecap me on the steps and get me down the m more speedily.

I sit & sip my tea & pick up messages/emails etc. & generally bitch about how crap the internet speeds and connections are.
I am not normally so lazy, I am normally so busy I dunno if I am on my arse or my elbow. Therefore, when I get the chance to veg out with my bra cast in a corner of the bedroom and the girls swinging in gay abandon I soak it up to the fullest.

This week (maybe tonight, maybe not-who knows until it happens) hubby's band are in the studio laying down some tracks for an album we have been collectively working on. That has added a little bit of excitement to what is usually the doziest time of year.
Once done, I might share some of them here.
The demos I have sent out to some of my dearer friends have returned positive feedback so far.

Next week I will be seeing mornings again as we are back in pet sitting mode - I'm not quite sure how to realign my body clock for that one... or if I actually wish to haha.
Something else for me to think about... that should keep me busy for the rest of the day.

& this is why I love indonesia, it is full on, in your face or it is a complete standstill - on a beach , in traffic or just dozing around at home.

So guys- what is you daily life all about just now?

Ok here we go...wake up about 5 am ...have no choice cause kittens are playing on the bed and my head...I'm pretending to still be asleep but so is the wife....first one up has to make coffee...head downstairs and almost get tripped by the puppy (ever fucking day)... all 6 animals are in kitchen wanting food...no coffee till then...feed the herd and breakup fights about who got what....ahhhhhh coffee...out to the front pouch and take a aspirin with my coffee (I'm old and stuff hurts)... check emails and internet.... make 2nd coffee and light 4th cigarette...
Damn dogs think it's time for wrestlemania....walk the dogs, yell at the dogs to leave the chickens alone...
Sit back down on the porch and drink the now cold coffee...
Talk with wife about what we have to do today....decide to put it off till tomorrow...
Fuck it's only 6:30 am ...guess to early for nap.

My daily routine at the moment is so "luar biasa" that there's no point in describing it: it's all about moving in and arranging furniture, preparing for an onslaught of visiting relatives, and scrambling to get my new life in order (yesterday it took over TWO HOURS on the phone for a simple change of address for the bank - eeeeeeeeehhhhh!). When things bear some resemblance to the way I hope they will often be, I will describe them.

My life has become somewhat predictable of late, I am lucky that I have very frequent (business) trips around Indonesia as well as Asia that brings a change of scenery, as else I'd go mental.

6am; wake-up and a quick rinse before heading to the pool/apartment gym/professional gym across the road for a (spinning) class, this depends on the day.
7.30/8; get home, shower and get ready for work, if I feel like it a quick breakfast.
8.30; Leave for work, 9-6 in the office. Frequent business trips keep things a bit interesting.
6.15/30; 2/3 times per week, depending on my mood, head to the golf club to get in 200 balls or so. The remaining times would be off to whichever local pub has the best free-flow or happy hour deal that particular day of the week.
7.30/8; Depending on my better halves' schedule/mood go home or out for dinner, more often than not with friends. This can get late.
10;30~12; get home, take a rinse, try to watch my series on Netflix till I fall asleep..

Weekends are a never-ending streak of boredom, meet with friends to drink, eat, go to the mall whatever. I need to get a hobby. I used to do competitive sailing and was an avid skier but there's, surprisingly for the sailing, not surprisingly for the skiing, nothing like that in Jakarta.

Thought about joining a dragon-boat team till I realised that because you're always in the same position on the boat you're only really training one arm, considering the better half is out of town on business more than me that particular arm gets enough training so dragon boating is out. Bought a cheap drone in Mangga Dua, that lasted 1 weekend till I crashed it and kinda boring anyway. Got this idea with some buddies to go off-roading on some KLX's, but seems difficult to find a reliable company to arrange this around Jakarta, we rather want to try a few times before buying our own bikes and gear. Perhaps I should take-up another instrument, I've always been fascinated with guys that go crazy on those public piano's.

Have you converted?

I get up when I want except on Wednesdays when I get rudely awakened by the dustmen
I put my trousers on, 'ave a cup 'o' tea 'an' I fink abou' leavin' me 'ouse

I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparras too
It gives me a sense of enormous well-being

And then I'm 'appy for the rest of the day safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to it

Sounds like you moved to Jakarta not Hawaii

At the moment I'm just focusing on my routine for the next few weeks which involves 17 days in Bali and out of the concrete jungle that is Jakarta.

Sit on the other side of the dragon boat and train the other arm to balance it out

My daily.

Wake up atoms 3.00am (this is my self decided morning trigger, if i wake before 3.00am I curse as it's too early, 3.00 or after and I am happy as it is 'morning'.).

Get up, make coffee. Turn on TV to Australian network which broadcasts the morning new programme between 3.00-6.00am. This becomes light background sound as I study for my doctorate. Usually manage 2 hours or so. I also like to catch up on a few American late night hosts, such as Steven Colbert and Trevor Noah. A second coffee is usually consumed here as well.

Around 6.00am wake the trouble and strife and the bucket lids.

All hell breaks loose for a mad hour, breakfast, showers, homework forgotten, instructions for the day etc

Head off to work around 7.00am ... sometimes wait till 7.30 and take the kids to school if the missus has a work meeting in city. (Usually 1 or 2 a week).

Home from work around 4.30 - 5.00pm. Great kids, sometimes we go for a swim or a walk or a bike ride.

Dinner at 6.00.(ish).

Afterwards a bit of tv or read a book.

8.00 pm kids bedtime and stories. Usually i go to bed at the same time.

Asleep before 9.00
