Indonesia has just raised the stakes for rupiah traders.

The currency may slide as far as 20,000 per dollar if the worst materializes and the economy contracts under the weight of the virus pandemic, according to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati. That level is more than 15% weaker than the all-time low of 16,950 reached during the Asian financial crisis.

Whether the government is simply preparing markets for the worst or signaling that it’s preparing to scale down intervention, the prospect of a sharp fall has opened up the possibility of the currency reaching a level that was previously unthinkable.

If they fly, so be it. If by road and you live in an area that millions could be passing through with many stopping, eating, gas, and resting all the while having contact with others, you may have some concerns.
If they fly it's OK ? Basically you are saying that the main thing is that contaminated persons do not travel past your home, if I understand properly this, and your previous message.

Yep. People in the ground could do nothing if they are flying over. That would fall into the hands of where tgey are departing from or arriving too. What did you expect, we stand here on the ground and with our stretchy arms just reach up and snatch that damn plane out of the sky?

Listen up. Some things can't happen by those here in Lampung. Best to concentrate on things that can be controled. That would be stopping anyone overland.

Rest assured, mr President has made sure with his latest policies that local authorities are not to implement what they feel protects their residents can't be done. At least the mayor of Bandar Lampung is stopping everyone entering Bandar Lampung from outside the area and checking them with minimal but some basic medical test. As for the airport, they have been checking those coming in for the past two weeks. Maybe that will give you rosey cheeks but it isn't lical, it's national.
