I believe that the less attractive your female staff are, the more professional they are. At least it seems to be the way Indonesian wives see it.
Some time ago I was looking for an admin staff. 4 female candidates were shortlisted. During the interview it was obvious that three were smart cookies and could have done the job satisfactorily.

The main drawback for Ms Atlantis was that all three were too cute for the job.

Ms Atlantis managed to find, in all three, negative points that I didn't notice despite having a fair experience at interviewing and recruiting people.

Ms Atlantis was adamant that the fourth candidate, an ungracious shy fat lady, was the best suited for the job. She stayed a week only, being unable to do the job and unwilling (or at least unable) to learn. However Ms Atlantis kept telling me that with any of the three others it would have been worse. I am still looking for an admin to this day. If you are fat and/or ugly (both qualities preferred), please send your resume.

Change "maids" to "women" <I have no experience with maids> and I'd have to disagree.

In my day, I'd always start with the stunner. For some reason most men are afraid to approach gorgeous women and when they do they use their cheesiest lines! Relax, have fun and the rest will naturally follow.

Consider, Darwin is on your side. Genetics dictates that the best lookers will do whatever is necessary for their genes to survive. And we all know what that means.

All these "kulis" and "tukangs" are hired on a casual basis and can be let go just as easily. They all work under a mandor or supervisor whilst they are on site. My advice would be speak to him directly if you don't know the owner of the property being worked on. If you cant speak Bahasa get your wife to take it to Pak RT
