Do you always abide by the road rules in Indonesia??
I have to confess I've ridden up footpaths, cut across median strips, quickly changed between driver and pillion driven up one way streets/gone against traffic... adopting a kind of "when in Rome" attitude.
Motorcyclists came close to being crushed by a bus as they used Transjakarta's bus lane the other day.
This second video taken at the beginning of the month shows motorcyclists heaving their bikes over the barrier once realizing police had a block waiting up ahead for those using the Transjakarta-only bus lane.
