There was a letter from the governor today with 7 steps points:

1) Moving all schools incl. universities to online model (stay at home).
2) Government workers, other than front line workers, working from home.
3) Government, other than those urgent, work travel out of Bali postponed.
4) All governmental meetings/seminars/training etc postponed
5) Public crowds such as entertainment venues, etc cancelled or limited.
6) Effective until 30 March 2020
7) Remain calm, don't spread false information, practice good health and hygiene.

Yes, this is correct. As of now there are no instructions that I know off to close any of the transportation services in and out of Bali. I have changed the title accordingly.

This is what I am watching closely. First rumor I run back to Bali.

Not really interested to stay in the jungle village (near Banyuwangi) for a month or so.
At least in Bali I can sip Bintang at the pool !

You could always just rent a boat and have them drop you off...

That was the information as received , the origonal title was ,"It seems that" ...etc , travel to bali from java and vice versa was only for urgent reasons ,that was clarified by contacts in Denpasar , ya maybe things have changed again ,communications here being as "clear as mud"
