Arrogant & unpleasant expats...

I've been embrassed many times by entitled Angelo's (that includes American ).
One story is we used to go to Baja Mexico all the time to go surfing . It was only a 10 hr ride. We once took a guy with us who not only didn't surf but had never been more than 50 miles from where he lived. The whole trip while we munched fish tacos between sessions he would bitch about not be able to have a McDonald's. He complained about how dirty every thing was . After a couple days of surfing and partying it was time to head home. We asked him if he enjoyed him self. He said it was great except there were to many mexicans there. Need I say more ? Never talked to him again.

I wonder if anyone has suffered arrogance from foreigners, me never, but the only time I had to be careful was in Manchester, I had digs with a lovely Scots lady with a lovely name Liz Taylor, there were two pubs close by and she said, What ever you do don't go in the first one they will bite your head off with that Southern English accent, use the second one, which I did and very friendly pub with nice people with good food, when I walked past the first pub, it was incredibly noises with teeth marks in the door, so it's always a good indication of a pub in England, if the door looks beat up, don't go in

I dont know if Clark Kent or Tony Stark lives at Aston Rasuna

Powerful friend, BA ?

I feel somewhat humbled Anglian. Was this pre or post Richard Burton?

She was an angel compared with my previous landlady, a women who was the most bigoted I've ever met and had some strange customs but there another story, I only stopped 4 days and that was far too long
