AI Businesses Impacted by DeepSeek AI

Quite a few people dislike the US, and that number is likely to increase quickly.
With threats to take over the Panama canal and wild tariffs, Trump might well make America grate again.
That's politics - something we prefer to ignore, but still sneaks up on us and bites.

I use AI a little, but never for facts. That will apply to this new one (if I ever bother with it).
AI is great for some tasks, but absolutely useless for anything that requires accuracy.
Google Maps is a fine example of AI messing things up. What was easily the best navigation app is now all but useless for getting from A to B. It's still amazing for information, but useless for anything else.
The big tech companies are all going mad for their share of the AI market, but none have considered how rubbish it is at most tasks.
I just found a new free site like Google maps. It's called (Maps.me) I tried it and it worked showing the way from Sembung to Ubud. As we were on our way, I noticed sometimes my driver took an alternative route different from Maps.Me. Maps.Me seemed to follow more main roads similar to GoogleMaps.
The best thing about Maps.Me is it doesn't need you to be on the internet. Such as using your data? It uses satellite transmission.

It doesn't use satellite transmission for data. It uses GPS just like everyone else. It just downloads a larger section when it is online and will not be able to give live updates as traffic patterns change.

You can download a selected area in google map and use off-line - but the search mode and live update is not available.

Thanks for the explanation about GPS. What I like about it is I don't have to buy Data. Because I don't go out, and away from my wifi at home, enough to warrant buying Data.
