You are correct....... but cleaning-up Indonesia has to start somewhere. It took a while for the USA to get rid of the Mafia, including the assassination of the Kennedy brothers, but they got it done.

Got any other ancient (and long ago discredited) conspiracy theories you can roll out. Certainly there is a better historical analogy that has at least a passing acquaintance with credibility.

I did NOT attempt to revive any conspiracy theory....only intimated the clean-up was a major issue during the time John Kennedy was President and Robert was Attorney General....and both were assassinated. I was trying to show that even under extreme problems USA got it done and, imo, if Indonesia had the political and public will, and good leadership, it too could do the same.

Why don't you fill your boots and regale the rest of us on YOUR brilliant deduction on how the mafia in USA were cleaned-up instead of being so anal-negative about other members contribution to the discussion. That would be helpful.

BTW....I wonder why Waarmie has become such a smaarmy since he returned to USA...maybe needs to come back to RI and re-learn some Namaste.

Exactly...I juxtaposed the fact that a major clean-up of the mafia and terrible assassinations was to show that USA was going through troubled times.... but their citizens still prevailed and were successful. My intent was to parallel how eliminating corruption could prevail in Indonesia if there was a similar perseverance.

Your assumption that I was indicating some conspiracy theory is in your mind...it wasn't in mine.
I admit I could have phrased it better but I don't understand why you run around the forum nitpicking on other's posts...why don't you offer something more constructive? Given you opened the door... why don't you write about the Kennedy conspiracy as you seem to know the answer. I'd be interested.

I believe those threats have been spoken of in this Forum on numerous occasions.
