Just felt it at home while on a videocall, my colleague saw my screen shaking.

No bad news so far and no tsunami alert.

Anyone else felt it?

Felt in central Jakarta - but I have to say it felt pretty mild compared to the last few we had a few years ago. I was surprised by how big it was when I looked it up.

Very very strong in Kuningan even on the ground floor for 30 seconds. So can't imagine how it felt 20 or 50 floors up

I felt rapid shaking accompanied by intense rattling of classroom doors in the hallway of the third floor of the building where I work in West Jakarta. I had never seen my door rattle like that before. Even though it seemed to go on for a long time, it was actually about a minute. We are lucky that the quake was so far away; it was the same magnitude as the disastrous 1994 Northridge quake and much shallower.

This video is circulating Indonesian twitter right now:

Could feel it in Bandar Lampung. More the rippling type than shaking.

I felt a wee shake in Ciamis. We're pretty far away so maybe unrelated

in my office 2nd floor in Tangerang. Felt it for a few seconds. Felt like somebody huge stepped on the ladder coming up originally, but it got stronger for a few seconds like a bunch of trucks passed by and then it stopped.
