lifetime KITAP .... need to report every 5 yearsRenewal?
Wow so literally just walk in the immigration office, tell them you want to 'lapor/report' for lifetime KITAP and then...that's it? (aside from the stuff you mentioned?) Is this your third KITAP btw?got it done. Zero surprises. They took a new photo and fingerprints. A couple of forms to fill out. New card to be ready in 2 days
In and out in about an hour.
Did have to pay 1.7ish juta for a MERP on the wife's insistence haha I have no plans to go anywhere
If the renewal for your second KITAP came after the change with lifetime KITAPs then yes, your second would have been a 10 juta lifetime one.Wow so literally just walk in the immigration office, tell them you want to 'lapor/report' for lifetime KITAP and then...that's it? I got conflicting info as when one can have a lifetime KITAP. I am currently on my 2nd and from what I understood before...I would be eligible for lifetime KITAP as soon as I'm done with my 2nd one..which is this coming 2025. but my new agent told me that I would've been eligible on THIS second KITAP...
ok looks like my 3rd one (which will start 2025) would be my lifetime kitap then cause when i mentioned to my first agent he said 'not available' or some bullshit like that.If the renewal for your second KITAP came after the change with lifetime KITAPs then yes, your second would have been a 10 juta lifetime one.
Since the ‘lifetime’ KITAP is already in place since 2016 or so, you should have / be on one…ok looks like my 3rd one (which will start 2025) would be my lifetime kitap then cause when i mentioned to my first agent he said 'not available' or some bullshit like that.
If there is one thing you definitely don't need an agent for it's the lifetime kitapok looks like my 3rd one (which will start 2025) would be my lifetime kitap then cause when i mentioned to my first agent he said 'not available' or some bullshit like that.
A bit rhetorical I guess; you’re the only one who knows how he’s doing and what the chances are something would happen…it would never be a bad idea to visit Imigrasi and see what needs to be done. I’m just wondering what they would say about the ‘being married for two years’ part and about financials?if anything should happen to my dad after that, it might be problematic to switch sponsor (to my wife) or I should do it when/before the reporting date comes...?
Pardon me for asking but you've been married for more than two years to your wife?I can just do the extension when the time comes and that seems like a pretty easy thing but if anything should happen to my dad after that, it might be problematic to switch sponsor (to my wife) or I should do it when/before the reporting date comes...?
Yes I have...it's just when I did my KITAP the first time I wasn't married yet.Pardon me for asking but you've been married for more than two years to your wife?
I think the one thing to make sure if you want to switch sponsors is whether you go straight to spouse-sponsored Kitap on the basis of being married for longer than two years or you go to spouse-sponsored Kitas and then convert to Kitap in the following year.
He is doing fine at the moment health-wise. Knock on wood...from my father's side I only know one person who passed away at relatively 'young' age around 70 and that was my grandpa. Everybody else had a pretty good longevity.A bit rhetorical I guess; you’re the only one who knows how he’s doing and what the chances are something would happen…it would never be a bad idea to visit Imigrasi and see what needs to be done. Currently in my family in law and even in the komplek people are dropping like flies (excusez le mot if it seem insensitive). But it’s true; never seen so many flower boards and yellow flags as the last couple of months. Perhaps the ‘relative’ freedom lately had an opposite effect and now it’s the turn of the regular influenza or the backlog in medical care with people not getting treated the past two years, etc.?Everybody else had a pretty good longevity.
Again knock on wood...dad and mom are healthy although mentally i think dad is under quite a lot of stress dealing with mother's dementia but other than that i think overall health is relatively okay. I may start to ask around how hard/easy to just switch my sponsor...Currently in my family in law and even in the komplek people are dropping like flies (excusez le mot if it seem insensitive). There has been a worldwide rise in unexplained deaths over the past year or so. Plenty of sites to get your own information from but it has caught different governments attention. Here is just one example.Currently in my family in law and even in the komplek people are dropping like flies (excusez le mot if it seem insensitive).
