ok looks like my 3rd one (which will start 2025) would be my lifetime kitap then cause when i mentioned to my first agent he said 'not available' or some bullshit like that.

Do it yourself , agents are a rip off and constantly tell bullshit to get more money . Heard of fees in the range of 40 million to arrange Alhi Status /change from Kitas to Kitap , 6 ,700,000rp including merp and similar for the first renewal of Kitap , depending on what you want . Another 5 year extension ,6,700,000rp again or the lifetime/unlimited ,10,500,000rp + merp fee . You are entitled to the lifetime/unlimited Kitap when you renewed after your first Kitap expired . Then it's just a report to immigration every 5 years at no cost . I was also told I don't have to renew the merp unless I intend to travel O/S .

Yeah I got rid of my original agent after I got my last (2nd KITAP). Don't get me wrong, while some of the members here prefer do things themselves, I don't mind using a bit of (partial) help from agents (and I still wanna believe some charge more reasonably) just don't wanna be charged 50 million for a 12,000,000 KITAP. I did do my very first one...I can appreciate the experience, but four months of back and forth and being called to the immigration office by the officer just to pick my documents and literally walked ten steps to transfer it to another dept, just enough for me not to wanna do it again.

We shall see how it'll turn out in 2025...

Except on retirement visa for which an agent is mandatory, as he is your sponsor...
And in that case the 5 y extension cost MUUUUUUCH more than you mentionned !
But still cheaper than marrying !
