Well, if you are looking for a tax free lifestyle, then Monaco or certain of the Caribbean countries should be your choice of residence. Singapore, where I'm from, runs a close second unless you're earning employment or director income, in which case you are taxed, albeit at lower rates than Indonesia.

Didn't Singapore discontinue their long term investor / social visas for foreigners many years ago? If their program was still open I might consider living there if it wasn't for their high cost of living.
