Indonesia & Corruption: a few articles in the past few weeks

My understanding is that the point of the Luwak is that it will only eat the very best coffee beans, so whether in the wild or in a cage would make very little difference. IF they try and feed it poor quality berries in a cage, it still won't eat them.

Wife divorced me in secret. How to prove it?

Actually there is and its all online. I recently had to get a copy of my marriage certificate, in order to get the Germans (where nothing is online) to give me a copy of the death certificate of my ex-wife.

    E21A chaos

My agent had no objection to me changing my sponsor from her to my wife and ended my previous kitas. Imigrasi seems to have had no issies either. They said my leaving was perfect as I could then enter on a new visa (E31A) sponsored by my wife.

    E21A chaos

Thanks, I'll check that out or ask my wife to check with Immigration.

    E21A chaos

Actually she only paid the 2.7jt the first time round, not the $150,, so it will be 7.8 jt. Whichever way you look at it still less than the 12 jt charged by my visa agent (That was when I was on a retirement visa). If I could have found a visa agent who only charged 10 jt, I would have used...

    E21A chaos

With a cost of 15jt this seems like a no go, especially as my wife is already able to apply for a new KITAS via molina.

    E21A chaos

So the question is do they match up incoming and outgoing. Would I find myself being hunted down for not fulfilling the "leaving again" part of a VOA?

    E21A chaos

Somewhere on this forum it says that a VOA or an eVOA cannot be converted into a KITAS. That might have something to do with having normally to show an onward ticket. Then again somewhere else on the forum it says that you can convert from VOA to KITAS. Anyhow I think I've got that covered...

    E21A chaos

I have no idea if you can apply for it while out of the country. My wife is in Indonesia and has made the application from there. Both imigrasi and my previous visa agent said that it was easier to change sponsor from visa agent to my wife while I was out of the country. Don't understand why.

    E21A chaos

According to https://fabiovisatravel.com/spouse-kitas-indonesia-e31a-and-e31b/ is a spouse visa also known as KITAS, is specifically designed for foreigners who are married to Indonesian citizens (E31A) or those married to a KITAS or KITAP holder (E31B), allowing them to live in Indonesia for 1...

    E21A chaos

As my wife found out. At least doing it twice is still considerably cheaper than the visa agents fees

    E21A chaos

I recently changed my sponsor from a visa agent to my wife as my kitas renewal date was coming up. It all seemed pretty simple. I was going back to the UK for a month, which imigrasi said was good and would make it easier. I left and my wife submitted an application for E31A, received an invoice...

Indonesia & Corruption: a few articles in the past few weeks

I'm surprised that its not a western country. Presumably they make the calculation by the number of people involved and not the amount of money?

Indonesia & Corruption: a few articles in the past few weeks

You don't know what you're missing. The export manager of a large printer in Solo used to take me to eat in small warungs and the food was excellent.

Indonesia & Corruption: a few articles in the past few weeks

That's quite possible of, course. when we live in a world where content is created just to give the impression of knowledge to draw people in, because it makes the author money. But at least Indonesian food has at least, justifiably, been mentioned. Malays are always saying that Indonesian...

Indonesia & Corruption: a few articles in the past few weeks

The "hype" is the way most American food restaurants operate. Brain washing (brain pollution) through advertising. When McGarbage moved into China they were very unsuccessful, but they didn't give up, just kept on pummelling people with advertising. Eventually it worked, and china is now on its...

Indonesia & Corruption: a few articles in the past few weeks

Rated number 6 in the world https://www.tasteatlas.com/best/cuisines. Where have you been eating? Tourist restaurants? Hotels? The best places to get good food are the small warungs, even kaki lima, Or try masakan padang, frequently voted as one of the worlf's best cuisines. And if you live in...

    Goodbye Bali

You mean they weren't recorded on a dictaphone by god, or taken down in shorthand, and then just typed up by people. Whoever would have thought.
