    I use "aku" for family or friends that I know for long, "saya" for everyone else. "Kasih ya" is short from "terima kasih" + "ya" ("ya" here is more an extra emphasis). I use "makasih" sometimes.     I did that type for my wall and I think it's actually easier. Yes, price is of course a consideration. I also like the freedom to decide when the chores begin and end, how I want it be done, more control on (almost) everything. Knowledge and experience are bonuses. Long live independency! 💪
