What is the reality of having helpers in Indonesian households?
I agree! As much as I enjoy less housework, I also feel a good amount of guilt when the helper is cleaning. I have this urge to help cleaning as well. I guess it's due to my parents education lol. I know a local friend who pays her maid (5 days a week) 3 million a month. The maid is older and also has been working with her family for a long time. Thank you for letting me know. Yesterday I went to Pasar Senen and indeed, there are many fresh pork sellers and the quality is great. I went there around 12pm, and I could tell some items are sold out already. But I want to give you guys a warning, cuz there are a LOT organs and pig heads, so...- evarry641

Tailor recommendations
If you stays in South jakarta, I recommend go to Mayestik market, and go up to 5 or 6th floor where a lot of tailors works. These will be cheaper and less scammy compared to the ones outside. I usually go to "Putri Kebaya Meyastik". She speaks english well and gave me local price.- evarry641
