My company provide me with satellite television as part of my package. The TV was here when i arrived and probably already 10 years +.

Both the TV and Indovision run off “AV” connection (three red/white/yellow plugs) I’ve recently upgraded to a Sony 65inch Smart TV but don’t have the ports. I’ve purchased three convertion cables to put my ‘Indovision box’ to new the new Tv. but none of them work.

Do I need a proper conversion unit ? Reluctant to buy a 4th component of Tokopedia before I hear from someone more knowledgeable than I am.

Seems a little ridiculous having a 32 inch TV balanced on a chair, in front of a 65inch one just to watch some F1. Or can I convert my membership to online and steam the channels? Or upgrade my indovision box to a HD one without buying the HD channels ?

I don’t have indihome. Not available in the middle of the mountains.

Did you check with Indovision to see if they can send you a new decoder? It's 2021 and almost all TVs only accept digital format (HDMI, DVI), so they must have decoders that do that.

I have noticed most providers in Indonesia will upgrade old hardware free of charge. It doesn't hurt to ask before you buy more adapters.

Firstly, I purchased a “AV2HMDI” converter from Tokped that required a USB power supply. It worked okay but not great picture quality.

Secondly, I got my company to cancel Indovsion and put in icon+ fiber optic.

Proved a winner as EPL moved to Vidio and F1 is now on Bein connect.

Yeh until next season lol
