Which malls don't check the vaccine card or QR code? Does anyone know if they're lax with this rule?

None of them hopefully
Kind of defeats the object if they let you in spreading the virus in one mall and not others

They should ALL be strictly adhereing to the Govt rules
Sorry

Why is everyone an asshat on this forum? It's a simple question. No need to act like a douche if you don't know.

They obviously don't all check the card / QC code plus I'm not interested in the vaccine so that's out of the question.

But let people in the bus, train, subway or market without it ?

I don't know about Jakarta, but even before the Covid drama I have never seen a crowded mall in Bali....
Anyway, not the kind of places I hang out.

Just wait it out. This madness will pass...
See UK, Sweden, even France after pushing like mad is already speaking about lifting the rule.
All overreaction IMO. Same as the "magic soap" and temperature check madness....

Depending on where you live. Very early on..smaller/less popular malls didn't really check the QR code (although they did ask for my printed vaccine card casually)...but I would think now most malls have caught up with the procedures.

But if you're not vaccinated at all, I think you're of luck...except say for example...you go to Mall of Indonesia, you can't enter the mall itself, but you can go to smaller mom/pop stores in the same complex.

Anyway I managed to venture out to Kuningan. I went to about 3 malls. They all let me in without too much of a problem. I was with a local though.

Next time I'll go alone and compare. If I get stopped I'll just slip the guard 50 or 100 ribu. That's money well spent to do some shopping.

You are a selfish arsehole. If you dont want to get vaccinated then so be it but dont break the rules to go to places which have rules on vaccinated only. People like you are the reason why the world will take much longer to recover.

If the rules aren't being properly enforced, then whose fault is that?

Life has to go on eventually. Can't keep cowering in fear at home.

You know better but chose to ignore it, so yes its your fault not some poorly educated security guard.
Life can go on....get a vaccine. If you cant get one here then go back to where you came from. You seem to hate the place anyway.

Lol you sound like a vaccine zealot. Even many locals adamantly refuse to get it. What does that tell you?

For someone who's lived here forever you seem pretty high strung. Pop open a bintang and relax.

No i was rightly corrected by Balifrog before that people should have a choice to take a vaccine or not. So dont have a vaccine if you want.

But i also believe that there are consequences for that and one of them is that you cant go to a mall. The fact that many locals wont take it is besides the point and up to them; they too cant go to a mall, fly domestically, go to a cinema etc. In the US cant go to sports games, in the UK cant go to nightclubs. Bribing is never an acceptable option.

The way things are going worldwide, the things that unvaccinated people will be able to do in the future will be very limited. Mall? Cinema? forget it. Fly? no. Pub, restaurant? nope. Clubs? not today mate
On the positive, you'll have plenty of time to spend at home on the internet.

And you applaud / approve that ?

Read my lips : In a few months this whole masquerade will be over.
Look at the UK for example.
