Many Muslims that live in Western Nations always seem to be saying they don't understand why people dislike them so much. Perhaps if they look at some of their own actions and words broadcasted they will get some ideas.

Here is a young Women that feels the fie at Grenfell Tower in London was retaliation for the London Bridge attack. While this Women says she knows no one personally from the building, she knows it was a Muslim attack. No clue to the fact that there were more then just some Muslims that lived there.

All muslims are same, no? like the borg yes ?
Of course they are not all the same just like they all don't question why. The ones like this Woman sure doesn't help the ones that don't agree with her.

I edited it for you.

More a "I want my opinion heard" FarcBook mentality that actual community response. On the broader front if moderate Muslims would actually come out and condemn what their brethren do. But they probably can't, as then they would get targeted.

Grenfell Tower has nothing to do with religion. Islam is only in part a religion.

Many muslims do, time and time again. But I am interested as to why moderate muslims 'should' have to condemn each and every atrocity committed by ISIS et al.

Do ordinary WASPs have to condemn each and every so called Christian atrocity ?

Should all Americans apologise for every dumb thing Trump does ?

I'm not sure if the moderates condemn or even try to stop every atrocities commited by their radical co-religionist:

Maybe we'll find out. Seems a van has driven into a group of Muslims leaving their Mosque in Finsbury Park, London. 3 seriously injured and a male caucasian arrested.

Most of the conflicts in the world have Arab origins. They are petty squabbles between tribes for power and influence. They are trying to or have drawn the western world into all these petty squabbles. Iraq, Syria, etc al. Afghanistan is different but also a bit Arab as Bin Ladin had his foot in the door.

Now they have started a new one with Qatar, who may end up having a bigger air-force than Saudi.

The fronts in Iraq and Syria are not going well so all the retreating young men with no jobs and no wives are going to Philippines to start a new front.

Risky topic this one......

Ok so why do many (not all) muslims feel that everything is about them and their religion? It seems that they perceive everything that happens as a threat and that their whole identity is wrapped up in their religion? As a result they feel persecuted for events happening thousands of miles away. In turn they become more insular which increases the persecution complex.

Ok so why do many (not all) westerners feel that everything about muslims is wrapped up in their religion? It seems that they perceive everything that muslims do, including breathing as a threat and that their whole identity is wrapped up in their religion? As a result of being unfairly persecuted for events happening thousands of miles away muslims in turn become defensive and more insular which increases the lack of understanding and persecution.

I will try to answer WHY, but it is just my opinion…

1. Many (not all) Muslims label westerners as “infidels”, whereas many (not all) westerners don’t label Muslims anything regarding their faith.
2. Many (not all) Muslims consider their religion the most important in life, whereas many (not all) westerners put country first & foremost.
3. Many (not all) Muslims display their identity by wearing hijabs (for example), whereas many (not all) westerners don’t display their religion. The few westerners that do by wearing crucifix necklace (for example) are discreet as it is often underneath their garments.
4. Unfortunately, terrorism happens. But not all Muslims are terrorists, however, many (not all) are carried out by Muslims. And when they do, you often hear shouts of “Allahu Akbar”.

So, who is to blame (Muslims or westerners) for the increase in the lack of understanding and persecution???

Really ? Can you define many ?

or how about each group has a few bad eggs in each ?

Even better, how about we don't group all muslims the same, or all westerners the same ? This whole dichotomy creates a false us vs them.

Unless your mind is already made up... ?

What about culture, the culture in Saudi Arabia is totally different to indonesia

10% may not be a lot, but ten million in a hundred million or a hundred million in a billion is many IMHO.

Yes, agree. There will always be bad eggs regardless of race or religion.

Just trying to answer WHY there is an increase in the lack of understanding... not grouping (never said "ALL") but I understand it is part of our human nature.

Yes, Indonesia's culture is under attack. Indonesia should maintain its local tradition of Islam which espouses tolerance and peace and has existed in the country for centuries.

not grouping (never said "ALL") .

Aaah, but you are. And you are being completely disingenuous about it.

Why prescribe less than noble intentions to the 'many' muslims, but give the 'many' Westerners the benevolent attitude ?

And what do you know of Saudi culture other than what is described in the news>?

I lived there for four years, also worked with several Saudis while working for two Saudi companies, bit of an eye opener at times, always treated well, but I cannot say everyone is treated well
