It seems to me (based on the link below) that with Three AON, although it has a 365-day expiration, you can extend this by adding regular pulses.

If your main objective is extending the SIM card validity time , adding pulses is not effective .

Could you explain us how you came to this conclusion ?

You could top up Rp5k each month, but it is not worth the hassle of doing it monthly. Plus, there’s a chance you might forget and end up losing your number. It is more convenient to just top up and forget it for a year if you are only using it to receive texts and calls.

As I said above , if the objective is having a long validity time with Tri , just buy AON internet quota packages (with it you can receive sms and texts/calls trough apps like Whatsapp , but I am not sure about receiving calls without apps - maybe John Indonesia knows) .

I did check the link before asking for your explanation , but now checking it further I understood that you probably refer to "buying Rp500k of pulses to have 365 days SIM card validity" , isn't it ?

If so , you are right by saying Rp500k will give you 365 days card's validity , but wrong when you conclude that buying Rp500k of pulses is your only option to extend the SIM card's validity for 365 days in a single operation .

At anytime , for extending the Tri SIM card's validity (including for 365 days) you can buy pulses , and/or internet quota package (AON if for 365 days) , an/or that "extension of the card's active period" I mentioned before , whatever is/are more adequate to you .
