I've seen a few post here recently about sites such as BBC player and Netflix not working with VPNs because they blacklist the IP address if it belongs to a VPN.
It's because when you use a VPN you are sharing your IP address with lots of other people which makes it easier to blacklist. It happens with all VPNs no matter what they say.
You see more and more often these days. "BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it’s due to rights issues."
The solution is to get a VPN with a Dedicated IP.
You get a unique IP address (not a shared IP address) in whatever country you chose (UK, USA etc) so you will not get blacklisted.
There are only a very few VPN companies which offer that service. NordVPN is one, and they charge 70 dollars a year for a Dedicated IP address.
Any comments before I shell out 70 bucks.?
