That's a completely different topic. So I don't see what this has to do with vaccination and covid-19, except that ironically enough there is a lot of overlap between pro-lifers and anti-vaxxers.

In the Netherlands you have arround 85% vaccinated and 15% not yet.
They went in lookdown and the situation is the same as last year .

In the middle of march, it will be 2 years of online school for Indonesia. I have not met 99% of my 7th or 8th Graders at all, just in Google Meeting and Zoom.

From my experience this past semester, it has been a clusterfuck to put it nicely. The government wants each school to have a health and safety system/protocol in place(I think everyone agrees with this) and students back in a face to face setting(most people including students prefer this). The problem I have with the later is, they informed schools on a Friday they could start hybrid teaching on Monday, but weren't happy if schools weren't operating hybrid or there wasn't a certain amount of students at school. They want schools to encourage parents to send their kids to school. Yet, they don't care if the school is capable to operate hybrid teaching(mainly the poor quality internet and struggling to deal with classroom management being the issues for teachers).

I tend to agree with the WHO that wants to make sure all countries get enough vaccines before we promote booster shots. I disagree with his assessment that the WHO is to blame. Like all UN bodies, all it can do is plea and ask.

USA has the largest death so far, and it is no surprise that its government cuts deals with pharmaceutical companies to secure vaccines for its citizens first, at the detriment of supplies to other countries. I remember that even Canada was behind in vaccinations because America got all the vaccines first for the continent. I’m on the fence about the booster shot in USA; on one hand it benefits me and costs nothing, on the other hand it’s depriving people in Africa and South America of it.
