Art. 71 of UU 22 2009 says that you have to report to POLRI if your vehicle in a different province for more than 90 days continuously. Of course a bit hard to enforce, cause you have to prove the vehicle did not leave the province for even 1 day.

Also not very clear what the consequences of the reporting would be...

Is that for you? If it is and that you have a problem to register a vehicle under your name in Manado, give me a shout. As long as you have a NIK you should be entitled to have the ownership registered to you. About half of our vehicles, including motorbike, private cars, pick ups and trucks are under my name.

Naw it' not me but if we ever have a problem we will het hold of you freind. Just went up to Tomohon and re reg out bike with no problems except that I was a month late...Oh well.
I'm thinking that this guys wife just wants everything in her name , my wife (Oh she' a bule too) couldn' care less.
