Do you have a song that you can listen to on repeat?
For me it is The Great Gig In The Sky, Pink Floyd. Not so much because it's Floyd but because of what Clare Torry wrote and preformed. While some of the ones who followed are very good, no one is Clare Torry.

Everything to do with Floyd & also possibly pertinent
From my favourite Pink Floyd Album "The Division Bell"

I've had a bit of a rap bug for the past year or so. Made myself a playlist consisting of Eminem, Dr Dre, D12, Outkast, Andre 2000 and some old school stuff like The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Puff Daddy and so on. And I'm basically listening to this all the time in the car or when exercising. 🤷‍♂️

hope you get thru it sooner that later .... :LOL::LOL::LOL:
Yes I know, quite a different taste from what's been shared in this thread so far :ROFLMAO: But for some of these songs, once you start paying attention to the lyrics, the humor and the skills with the rhymes and rhythms, as well as the back stories, it is quite interesting. I also find that the beat helps when doing some brisk walking!

My other playlists have a bit of everything (including that song by Elvis above) but also includes stuff like Radiohead, Muse, Portishead, R.E.M, The Rolling Stones, The Killer, AC/DC, The Foo Fighters, Beethoven, Michael Jackson, some Movie OST and a lot lot more.

Sorry ElG, I realised my post was going a bit far so I deleted it promptly. I was brought up by parents who ridiculed the music I liked when I was young & remember telling my own kids when they became teenagers that music was a personal choice & not to listen to anyone who told them their choice was not good.

No offense was taken but thank you for the apology, I appreciate it.

@El_Goretto

I used to soothe my baby girl to sleep by singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" to her. When she gets married, I'll have it played for the father / daughter dance 😭
