This video, BBC Planet Earth shows long-tailed macaques in Bali who have learned to barter with tourists. They learn it without the help of AI. These monkeys, particularly the older and more experienced males, collect items like hats and sunglasses from tourists. They don't eat these items; instead, they use them to bargain for food, such as chocolate, banana. The older males are skilled negotiators and understand how to get better rewards for the items they've taken. It seems they know that chocolate bar is more expensive than banana.

Oh, it’s not just the adults. I had some “teen” monkeys grab my eyeglasses, and toss them over the wall at Uluwatu. We were repeatedly warned, but I was holding onto them most of the time. Bule 0, Monyet 1.

I get the feeling that the monkey guys are training them.
