Migrating from the other place, I frustratingly found that I was unable to contribute. (Had to wonder, "Could ExpatIndo be as glitchy as recent experience?") Until that is, I checked my email to find that one additional click was required to activate the privilege of providing, through this portal, the boundless benefits of my wisdom.

Thunderstorms over DFW added 10 hours to expend our journey from home in Jakarta to home in the Midwest to just short of 37 hours. (We arrived at 11 pm local time yesterday evening.) You will forgive me if I am unusually brief as the need of a mid-day nap is overpowering.

I expect to be a regular contributor just as soon as I can catch up with the time zone.

Congratulations to the Administrator and all those helping in the creation of this alternative.

Chaotic is pretty descriptive. Its difficult to travel during Ramadan and during Lebaran, it's darn near impossible. Like BA, we stayed close to home this trip. Hope to catch up during the next visit.

Keep in mind that the house will probably need another coat of paint by then.
