Not yet on this forum, indeed. However, based on my experience moderating forums (wink, wink), there is potential for it to happen.

But if we are not carrying any baggage form the old place, especially in regards to rep, maybe we should reset the rep points to 0? A clean slate?

Me too, but a reset to zero might end up pissing off some with long strings of green dots.

I've noticed the green things under peoples names but haven't taken much interest in it before because maybe I haven't explored enough but there doesn't seem to be anywhere obvious that says if you like a post you can give the poster a gold star or how to do it. I assume I must have missed something along the way (or maybe it isn't very obvious how you give a gold star to someone).

Either way, I haven't given a green brick to anyone because I don't know how to. I would definitely give green bricks for Wisnu's photo's so maybe it should be more obvious. Wisnu's photo's are the prime example for me but there have been other posts that I would have given a gold star to if I knew how to.

On another, slightly related note, I posted a few replies to someone who asked how they could bump up their postings to be able to join the cage. My postings were admittedly pretty meaningless (along the lines of "Here's one " and "Here's another") after a few bottles of arak and rightly got picked up by Bad Azz for being boring and bumping up my number count so I'm closer to the magical 200 posts so I can join the cage and start swearing.

It just seemed a bit strange that as I was being picked up for meaningless posts I also got a green brick from the person who asked how to get to 200 for being funny.

I don't recall saying they were boring & meaningless- they amused me

& the black star in the bottom left of the post is what you are looking for ... it might turn gold when the forum gets some high finance sponsors tho hehe

Yes, very true you didn't use those words so my assumptions were wrong. Maybe a bit of captikus paranoia.
