REF Stamp...what does it mean???

Hey there!

A friend of mine should get a REF stamp in his passport. Does anyone know what that means? Yesterday they kind of told him that he has to leave the country because he forgot to give back his passport from new zealand when he applied for his indonesian passport and he shall get deported.
Any ideas what that REF stamp means? He is totally confused and stressed out...!And if he gets deported for how long will he not be able to get back to Jogja?

Hi Ekki.

Not sure what this is? Is there a way to clarify with the requester? I assume this is immigration. Which passport are they requiring to have the stamp? NZ or Indonesia?

Also can you clarify the situation: Why does your friend have both Indonesian and New Zealand passport? Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship for people above 21 years of age.

If he gets deported the minimum amount is 6 months, the maximum is lifetime.
