Hi. In May I submitted my KITAP renewal. It is still in process. My husband just asked me for our Kartu Keluarga because he needs a copy of it. I went to the safe where I usually keep that and all other important documents and none are there. I provided the original documents at the time of submitting my renewal. My husband says they would not have kept the originals, only checked them but had they returned them to me I would/should have put them in the safe when I got home. Now I am worried that they are missing. Can anyone confirm if immigration keep the original docs? Thanks.

In all likelyhood, they kept whatever you gave them. Immigration says to supply copies.

Imigrasi always just took copies, never originals. While they are going through your stash of documents they usually will return anything that is not needed. It is possible that the original KK slipped in with the other docs in your applications. In that case you can go to imigrasi and ask them to return it to you, as they do not need it.
