just a one off...
Film extras needed- in Jakarta on 15th Nov.
Sorry, criteria is for Western looking people only.
(dare I say "bule" ?)
Payment 1.2 jt

I assume that those on a spouse sponsored visa will be able to be legitimately hired for a day's work.
We had a similar discussion on this a while back. Spouse sponsored ITAS/ITAP holders a not technically elegible for IMTA .

Damn... So there goes my 1.2 jt... Occupation description of my IMTA might not stretch that far. :ohwell: :becky:

Yeah, always fancied myself as a James Bond type, you just don’t know where it might lead, Hollywood, the stars, so I’m game,

I should be in. Just need to check something tomorrow.

Spouse sponsored? .... they hire my wife & I'\m the bule puppet .... :)

Darn, I’ll miss it by a day, won’t be coming until the 16th.

Plus I’m old and grumpy, and 1.2 jt probably ain’t gonna cut it.

My 5 year old, would probably like it though. She thinks she’s a star, already. You’d need to bribe her with some Beanboozled jelly beans, though.

Pm me guys if you want me to put you forward to my contact xx

Update:
My apologies, the deal has fallen through.

I just got this message:
"Unfortunately this has fallen through, he changed the date, cut the fee and raised the hours".
So, if admin want to delete this thread it is fine by me..

Chance of stardom gone again, never mind

No need to delete it - that might just confuse people who saw the thread a few days ago and came back to look for it again ... they would wonder if they had dreamed the whole thing.

Hahaha, I am permanently confused in this country :D

Glad you asked-
Who do I call to claim sexual harassment?

It never hurts to bring awareness :p

So in support of the Me Too campaign:

This one is pretty good:http://www.aware.org.sg/training/wsh-site/6-what-to-do/

  • Indicate CLEARLY that you are uncomfortable with the behaviour. Say NO effectively and emphatically. It is more important to be firm than polite. If you are more comfortable not speaking to the perpetrator face to face, send an SMS or email. This message and the perpetrator’s reply may also be used as evidence.
  • Collect evidence – Start a log and note down dates, times, places and who was present at the time of the incidents and give detailed accounts of the unwelcomed sexual behaviour.
  • Keep any email or SMS correspondence with the harasser as evidence. Taped evidence is also useful.
  • Alert or inform someone whom you trust at the workplace of the harassment. Talk to friends or family members that you trust about the incident. Even if they were not present at the harassment scene, they may be able to support your case as witnesses.
..............etc"

This one is less good:
http://employment.findlaw.com/employment-discrimination/sexual-harassment-actions-you-can-take.html

"Especially in the employment context, sexual harassment often makes the victim feel powerless. Many victims are even told that there is nothing they can do about the harassment, so they should just be quiet and tolerate it. In reality, there is much that a sexual harassment victim can do to put a stop to the problem, including informal actions at the workplace and formal steps like filing a lawsuit against the responsible parties."
The fact that they banged the word victim out there 3 times in the first paragraph put me off reading the rest of their advice.

I don't care what the stipend is, so long as it includes transport i.e. airfare.

I wasn't harassed much when I was a young thing - but there is one time I will always remember that I wish-wish-wish I could go back and repeat, with different behavior on my part. It wasn't harassment, just incredible boorishness: the boss I was meeting with could not keep his eyes off my legs.

I ignored it then, but if it happened now I would bark, loudly and sharply: "Fred!"

When he looked up in surprise, I'd do that Crocodile Dundee two-finger thing, drawing a path from his eyes to mine, and say, "Fred...you look at my eyes, Fred, my eyes, NOT my legs."

I'd have loved to see his reaction.
