Last Thursday I went to Mataram immigration to submit my KITAP renewal but was told, that I was short 2 items. SKTT and Certificate of no impediment. That was all that was missing from my folder. I got those sorted and went back to immigration yesterday and suddenly, now 3 of the forms I have completed are missing. The ones with every letter filled in a box, oh and I need a letter that I draw up myself for the MERP too (I did not need one for the 2 x 6 month MERPS I got in the past 15 months but okay, I can fill the forms in again and make up a letter. She said you will also have to bring your old passport. Last month I had my KITAP moved from my old passport to a new one. Strange, I thought my passport was also in the folder, but though I must have taken it out at home without realising. Anyway, no passport at home, anywhere. I have taken the place apart and offered staff a reward if they can find it. Nothing. Nor the forms I had previously completed and had never had a reason to take them out of the folder. I have no idea what happened to anything but I am worried now what will happen when I go back to immigration tomorrow minus my old passport. I do have a photo copy of every page of the old one, if it is lost can that be enough? It is not like I can get a replacement "old passport" with all the old stamps in it...

Very stressed.
Thanks for any advice.

Why would you need a SKTT for a KITAP renewal. They should ask you for your KTO-OA. KITAS owners have SKTT.

The original list they gave me of the documents I would need did not have SKTT on it. But when I went back to try and submit the application they told me it had changed now and I no longer needed the surat domisili but an SKTT instead, so we went and got that. If I need it I have it but do I really need my old passport?

My gut tells me that my forms probably never went back into the folder the first time she was checking I had everything because I never went and took anything out of the folder after that except my KK for the SKTT. But surely if my passport also got left out, with my name on thwy would know exactly who to give it back to. I will search everywhere again at home in the morning but I don't hold out much hope.

I think they are wrong but, what's new for an Immigration office? A KTP-OA would certainly be way more important that and SKTT. SKTT is for Temporary resident. KTP-OA for permanent.

Any ideas re how to deal with the missing "old" passport?

Panic over. I have just pulled the house apart again and found it tucked inside a book. "tidied up" by someone! Phew. Now I just have to wait and see if the SKTT is ok or they now send me for KTP-OA.

Good luck on a speedy KTP-OA. You should have already had one. Discussed in here often.

I submitted the application today and everything was in order. They did not ask for a KTP-OA but once I have my new KITAP I will get one. Not sure why they asked for SKTT it was not on the list of required documents that they gave me a few weeks earlier.
