LOB Labuan Bajo, Indonesia

Hiking & Snorkeling fees? Did you forget to mention the "sitting on a bench" or "walking on the path" fees? I am feeling like a walking cash machine already and am only considering an outing.

yep ?

any entertainment that is available is subject to price.

Holiday/vacation cost money.. there is no such free in this world, even just walking around on your housing complex since you must drink and pay for the water...?

Therefore, I want to invite the members here to get a side income by becoming act agent.

every guest who gets there is a profit that can be obtained.

Or if you plan to trip someday maybe you can pay from your activity ? (from the results of this savings plan)

*I am not saving your money..
after I gets full pay from your guest (attached proof of payment to me) that day I will immediately send the benefits

of course it must be in accordance with the law which applies in Indonesia as a foreigner...

Can this be done?

Most governments are now looking at a new tax for tourists or foreigners where your cubic lung capacity will be measured on arrival and you will be charged the appropriate breathing tax relative to how much air you breath. (No guarantees about air quality, however.)

Yes Harry,

Even you sleep you must paying what you used such a electric for lamp, air-conditioned, etc.

As operator we must following government rules conditions (tax, paper, permit's, etc)...

Right now many travelers read on many review comments for recommendation before he paying the tickets, that's why we stricted about our services such a other fee outside what travelers must paid this is can become our negative reviews.

I also a traveler so I do not like if I meet situations like that..

FYI:

this company is not charged by value added tax, therefore in our transaction it does not include value added tax (VAT)

Cheers...

Enough said. Thanks but no thanks

The focus of Snpark's comment was not the status of Forum members.

I think he meant for those who want to be an agent of the travel company?

The sentence above the one you focused on was: "Therefore, I want to invite the members here to get a side income by becoming act agent. "

So basically sign up to oevrcharge bule to pocket the difference? Very ethical lol

I like the bit in the video Anthias Cruise where it has written "Life rats". (1 min 29 seconds into the video.) I guess they are offered as some kind of emergency rations in case of accident as it comes under "Safety equipment." I'm not sure if they are are gratis or you pay by the number of rats eaten

Next week I will be in Labuan Bajo (instead of a vacation in Bali).
Already booked hotel and boat trip.
I hope it's worth it ...

Hey, I think its great they are offering a more ecological, sustainable, organic, source of food, that is free from antibiotics, hormones, and all the chemicals and additives, we get from factory farmed meats and produce, that are usually offered!
As I saw at the market in Manado, they had Tikus Hutan, and nice big roasted fruit bats, plus nice roasted dogs, all ready for the people to take home and feed the family, a nice nutritious meal. Come everybody, don't be shy, give it a try!

Never wanted to try fruit bat but I have in the past had dog meat as both jerky and stir fried strips. The jerky went very well with the beer but not crazy about the stir fried. No third world about it or even developing nation. Had it in Japan. Also had sea urchin, sea cucumber, and sea slugs in their naturally produced sauce. I am not a shell fish lover. Actually dislike, even lobster and crab. I stick with the finned swimmers. Want a special crab meal? Coconut crab. Sweet and huge.

Boat maintenance and operation is not cheap. Just be careful with budget operation, make sure the boat is seaworthy and equipped with proper fire and safety equipment. If you know the name of the boat, you can check the history and/or the owner reputation. Personally, I always avoid the cheapest ones.

I would like to try the sea urchin. It's called Uni, I believe. Very popular in Japan. And very expensive too! There are several varieties, that I've seen on YouTube. Red, black, and purple. In California, there is a big problem with the purple variety taking over the coastal waters, and killing off the kelp. They dangerously affect other sea life such as abalone, and kelp beds where fish breed, and live, and hide from large predators!
Sea cucumbers, and sea slugs, are the same right? Anyway, they don't look very appetizing, but hey, I can't say, they might taste good. Some of them are a beautiful creature, with lots of colors.

Just checked in .. Batik Air to Labuan Bajo ...
Didn't know .. one has to check in online ... with the app BookCabin. They don't check you in manually anymore.
