Flight to Labuan Bajo is delayed with 90 min ... and just announced at 11.40h.

Strange however that Agoda already sent us a mail at 9.00h (!) that our flight was rescheduled to 13.15h ....

Point is that this info at the airport is given to us late ... very late.

I changed my mind regarding spending 2 nights on a boat and cancelled my booking. Being stuck for 3 days on a phinisi boat with other familes (and kids) is not relaxing. Instead did a full day boat trip on a luxury speed boat. Very satifying trip.

Tip: choose a boat with airco.

Flores is the next "Bali". Lots of tourists here already (mostly Chinese from the mainland) visiting Komodo island and the pink beach.

Warning: not for eldery people, imo. You need to have a good condition to climb up and down the boat at those beaches. Also going up the hiking stairs at Padar island.

Yep, Flores has been for many years declared where the most beautiful and unblemished beaches in Indonesia. So, what to do? Spoil them with tourist of course.

Nice. It's a good time of year to be there. December/January is green but the water's full of jellyfish. Very itchy.

Did another boat trip: sunset boat tour: 11 am until 7 pm.
Also a good option.
